Roadmap
Built for humans, not algorithms.
Every commit, decision, and pivot. Visible.
Architecture
Phases
Foundation
The public home base: marketing site, QR gallery, legal docs, monorepo plumbing, CI/CD, and a protected newsletter flow.
Capture Skills
RSS and X capture are live, with Freed Markdown import/export and batch library tools.
Save for Later
Save any link, read offline, and keep summaries and tags close at hand.
Sync Layer
Local relay, Google Drive, and Dropbox sync are working, with health checks, retries, debug charts, and desktop snapshots. iCloud is still open.
Desktop & Mobile App
Freed Desktop is the command center: signed builds, local snapshots, provider health, smarter fetches, crash diagnostics, memory telemetry, and public-safe bug reports. The mobile app stays light, synced, and ready to read.
PWA Reader
The mobile reader is live at app.freed.wtf, with legal gating, URL-backed navigation, bug reporting, and production or dev update channels.
Facebook + Instagram
Facebook and Instagram capture run through guarded Freed Desktop sessions, with feed pollution filtering, story capture, group controls, provider health, and sync backoff.
Friends + Social Graph
Friends turns scattered people into one local map: contact sync, identity matching, relationship context, reconnect nudges, and last-seen location views.
Browser Extension
Browser extensions for quick saves and Ulysses mode across Chrome, Firefox, and Safari.
Polish
Polish the edges: onboarding, stats, AI surfaces, plugins, community systems, and the final shell-level recovery fallback.
OpenClaw + Omi 🦞
Run Freed headless with OpenClaw, or save voice notes from Omi with an intentional "Hey Freed" capture.
Additional Platforms
LinkedIn is live. Next up: Mozi, TikTok, Threads, Bluesky, Reddit, and YouTube, all with the same guarded capture and health model.
POSSE Party 🎉 🦝
