The Library Core sync path is in active release validation. Freed Desktop keeps 24 closed SQLite backups on the device that created them. Google Drive carries immutable logical checkpoints and never receives SQLite, WAL, SHM, or rollback journal files. Complete off-device backup is still in progress and will combine logical checkpoints with content-addressed media. Drive now offers an explicit choice between Libraries and retains accepted data after interrupted checkpoint imports. Authenticated import and edit verification remains open. Dropbox remains gated while its provider work finishes, and iCloud remains open.

Freed Desktop is the command center: signed builds, local snapshots, provider health, smarter fetches, crash diagnostics, memory telemetry, and public-safe bug reports. The mobile app stays light, synced, and ready to read.

The mobile reader is live at app.freed.wtf, with legal gating, URL-backed navigation, offline reading, bug reporting, production or dev update channels, an anonymous read only showcase with a pre-generated Library, visible sample Library maintenance progress, and fail-closed OPFS SQLite recovery. Large imports report progress, interrupted imports retain the accepted database, and resets close participating storage workers. Physical iPhone acceptance remains open.

Facebook and Instagram capture run through guarded Freed Desktop sessions, with feed pollution filtering, story capture, group controls, provider health, and sync backoff. Facebook login recognition has been repaired; signed-build login and sustained capture verification remain open.

Friends turns scattered people into one local map: contact sync, identity matching, relationship context, reconnect nudges, and last-seen location views.

LinkedIn and YouTube are in. YouTube adds focused viewing, exact-video app handoff, followed-channel sync, and a private playlist for Premium downloads. Future work explores offline audio prepared by Freed Desktop and transferred over the local network or encrypted user cloud. Next up: Mozi, TikTok, Threads, Bluesky, and Reddit.
